New Spider Baby DVD Details

Awhile back it was announced that Jack Hill's classic film, Spider Baby would be getting a brand new DVD. Today Elijah Drenner, the producer of the DVD, hit me up with some great information on just some of the goodies that will be included on the disc that will be released on September 25th. This disc will contain the following special features:

A Brand new audio commentary with Jack Hill and co-star Sid Haig

The Hatching of Spider Baby - a retrospective documentary featuring Hill and co-stars Sid Haig, Quinn Redeker, Beverly Washburn, Karl Schanzer and Mary Mitchel with DP Alfred Taylor, American Cinematheque's Chris D and Joe Dante.

Spider Stravinsky: The Cinema Sounds of Ronald Stein - a brief documentary on Spider Baby composer Ronald Stein.

The Merrye House Revisited - a featurette with Jack Hill returning to the original house used in the film.

We have also learned that the disc will contain the film's original CANNIBAL ORGY title sequence which has not been seen by audiences since it's initial theatrical release in 1968! This DVD is going to be packed to the gills with special features. Make sure to keep it here because soon we will have a look at the new DVD art work.
