Zack Snyder talks Army of the Dead

Zack Snyder is teaming up with Warner Bros to create the action-thriller horror flick "Army of the Dead". At Comic Con Bloody Disgusting caught up with him and asked him about the project. Zach declared his love for the genre and made it clear that this movie is going to have MASSIVE scale. Think 300 with Zombies. To say I am friggin excited to hear this is probably one fo the biggest under-statements ever!

The film is set in a quarantined Las Vegas in the not-too-distant future, "Army" revolves around a father who tries to save his daughter from imminent death in a zombie-infested world. Snyder told Variety that he wants the film to have a sweeping, epic-like quality to it. "I feel like there hasn't been a zombie movie on the scale that we want to do it" Snyder said.

I have to say I can't wait to check this bad boy out. I have to agree with the man that I have never really seen a real effort to make an epic zombie flick. This has been an idea I have wanted to see done for so long and with Dawn of the Dead Remake director Snyder behind it I am excited to see what comes of it.
