Evil Dead Remake Stalled

Word from Bruce Campbell who has been delivering more bad news then you can beat a ghoul with is that Evil Dead has stalled. Although Sam Raimi is still talking about the project Bruce joked with Fangoria Radio that he will likely be 70 before they actually get around to making it since Sam Raimi is so busy.

This really isnt very new since when we interviewed Sam Raimi a few months back he told us that the film was pretty much something he wanted to do but wasnt moving forward at any speed.

In a recent interview with the Herald Sun, Sam Raimi said that he would like to have his brother Ivan write Evil Dead 4 with him, rather then writing it alone. I did not know this but Ivan wrote Army of Darkness which is hands down one of the greatest cult horror films ever made.  Lets hope the project gets on track so that a whole new audience of fans can be introduced to Bruce Campbell! The baddest man in show business.
