Horror On the Fast Track - HorrorMovies.ca

Today ComingSoon stumbled upon a list of upcoming films that will be fast tracked due to the upcoming Writers Guild, Directors Guild and Screen Actors Guild strike next year. Not all of the directors are actually signed on but the list is still good to see.

First off it doesn't look like Eli Roth will be taking his break that he had planned. According to the list the studio will be fast tracking the adaptation of Cell. It also looks like the Near Dark remake will be doing the same with director Sam Bayer. The bad news about that is that Bayer is, you guessed it, a music video director.

Some of the other films that we will see sooner rather than later include Gears of War, World War Z, Castlevania directed by Sylvain White, Insanitarium directed by Jeff Buhler, The Changeling directed by CLINT EASTWOOD!, Creature from the Black Lagoon directed by Breck Eisner, Dracula Year Zero directed by Alex Proyas and of course Wolfman directed by Mark Romanek.

An interesting list I must say. Especially Clint Eastwood potentially directing The Changeling. That would definitely be an odd coupling. If you are interested in other mainstream titles coming down the pipeline check Comingsoon for those.
