Whisper Straight to DVD

Whisper is another film that is trying its hands at the "evil kid" sub genre. Only Whisper has been shelved for what seems like ages. Directed by Stewart Hendler and starring Josh Holloway you would wonder what all the hold up is for from Gold Circle films. I'm guessing they are taking a page from the Weinsteins book. Keep a movie shelved until no one is interested anymore and then release it with no PR.

Want to know something funny? I wrote that paragraph a couple months ago. Now look where we are at. Universal Home Entertainment have just announced they will bypass a theatrical release and send it straight to DVD on November 27. No word on cover art or specs so be sure to stay tuned for that.

Since it hasn't been a contstant on the site I'll give you a quick run down of the synopsis. A group of criminals kidnap a young boy and his wealthy parents at an abandoned summer camp. Soon strange things begin to happen and they all seem to be caused by the strange young boy.
