Body Bags Making a Comeback?

Not long ago Tobe Hooper and John Carpenter teamed up to do a TV movie called Body Bags. Now while I thought it was one kick ass little movie the station didn't believe it had enough life to let it develop into a TV series. Luckily for us John Carpenter still has the rights.

Today writers Dan Angel and Billy Brown told iF Magazine that they plan on trying to bring the project back to life. They both said that they have been in talks with John Carpenter and have plenty of "twisted creepy stories" to tell.

They also mentioned an upcoming project they are working on with Tobin Bell. Brown told the site, "It takes place in an abandoned mental hospital where Tobin, a homeless man, has taken refuge.  He experiences visions of the mental hell of the hospital’s former patients, becoming a kind of unwilling narrator for their stories of torment and horror.  Meanwhile, we begin to learn about the things which drove Tobin to this particular hospital, and the horrors that are in his past.  It will be an intense, surreal and visually arresting production."

Now that sounds really interesting. Two potential horror series in one update. Man its good to be a horror fan.
