Brett Ratner Directing Escape from New York

Not to long ago it was announced that Len Wiseman would be directing the remake of Escape from New York starring Gerard Butler as Snake Plissken the baddest man alive. well now according to IESB Len has been tossed out on his ass and Brett Ratner will direct instead. Good. bad? Sound off. Escape from New York is a kick ass movie and Kurt Russell rocked that movie! I hope the remake is epic and does for it what Zach Snyder did for Dawn of the Dead!
