Anchor Bay Acquires Spiral

Anchor Bay have made good friends with director Adam Green having previously acquired his slasher flick Hatchet. A film that most fans have even yet to see but I promise that you are really gonna dig it. Friendship already intact Anchor Bay has picked up Adam Green's next film Spiral.

“Spiral represents a radical departure in tone and style from Hatchet,” Green said. “I’m thrilled that Anchor Bay Entertainment has now chosen two of my films for inclusion in their amazing film library.”

Joel David Moore plays Mason, a reclusive artist who finds new life in the eyes of his latest subject Amber (Amber Tamblyn). Wrestling with inner demons waiting to surface, he grapples with a past that not only haunts him, but may come to haunt her as well. Zachary Levi and Tricia Helfer co-star.

This is the second time that Moore has joined with Green. This time he has a lot more on his plate co-directing, starring, sharing a screenplay credit with Jeremy Danial Boreing, and producing credit with Boreing and Cory Neal. As with Hatchet Spiral will play "exclusive" theatrical engagements in 2008.
