Fangoria is reporting that Image Entertainment has picked up Douglas Buck's remake of Brian De Palma's Sisters. The DVD will hit shelves on March 11th and will be presented in anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. The only known extras include commentary by director Buck (who scripted with John Freitas) and deleted scenes. Retail price will be $27.98.
Image has also acquired Bruce Campbell's My Name is Bruce. Unfortunately the DVD will not debut until mid-2008 with some possible theatrical showings. In My Name is Bruce a small town is overrun by demons so they turn to the man with the plan, Bruce Campbell. Only they think he is Ash, the guy from the movies. Bruce tries to tell them he is not the man they think he is but reluctantly he is forced into helping them out.
