Dimension Acquires Wizard of Gore Remake

It's been quite awhile since anything had surfaced for Jeremy Kasten's remake of Wizard of Gore until today. Fangoria is reporting that Dimension Extreme has picked up the rights for the film. No word on whether or not it will recieve any kind of theatrical release before hand but we should be getting word about that shortly.

Wizard of Gore is the story of a master illusionist who performs at underground venues, selecting female volunteers from his rave-like audiences. To their hysteria, it appears he has dismembered their bodies, but his sleight of hand has fooled them. The next day, however, female bodies show up dead from the same wounds performed on stage. Investigators are baffled, and the chase to find the killer begins.
