Atomic Wants Jennifers Body

Fox Atomic looks like it may slowly be coming back to the genre by picking up Diablo Cody's spec script Jenifers Body. The best part about this move is that Megan Fox is in negotiations to star in the flick. Now that will get some asses in seats.

The story itself sounds pretty good as well. The Hollywood Reporter is describing it as being very similar to Heathers and Beetlejuice in tone. Basically a cheerleader with the perfect life gets possessed and goes on a killing spree of boys in her town. The only person that can stop her is her best friend.

Currently Fox Atomic is in a rush to get everything in order before the strike. Sometimes I enjoy when these strikes come up because the studios always haul ass to get stuff done. Hopefully this one comes out sooner rather than later.
