Yesterday I posted up what I believed to be the final US trailer for I Am Legend, turned out it was a leaked international trailer. International, Domestic...its still a good trailer.

So, now the folks at IGN have the actual domestic trailer that will start playing in theaters sometime in the future. And I gotta say, I think its better than the international. It opens more subtly and slowly than the international one and builds up on that. Then the final minute long action montage, awesome. You get to see a bit more of the vampires and something totally new we haven't seen before in the vampire genre. I won't spoil it for you, but you'll know it when you see it.

Legend was helmed by Constantine director Francis Lawrence and for anyone who is curious, Ridley Scott and even Michael Bay were attached at one point or another. Back in 2002, Legend was close to being made with Bay directing and Smith staring but they decided on another Bad Boys movie. When Scott was attached back in the 1990s, Ahunld Schwarezenegger was set to star. Guillermo Del Toro was also approached at one point to direct this most recent adaptation.

I Am Legend hits theaters on December 14.
