Ridley Scott Producing Tell Tale

Ridley and Tony Scott are going back to their real roots with another horror picture that they will be producing with their banner Scott Free Prods. "Tell Tale" will be a modern take on the classic Edgar Allan Poe tale "The Tell Tale Heart". Tapped to direct is Michael Cuesta with a script written by Dave Callaham.

Right now they are looking to budget the film at $20 million and to begin shooting in early 2008. It is mentioned later on in The Hollywood Reporter that everyone producing the project plan to work on several more genre films in the future. So lets hope that Ridley Scott may direct one of those upcoming projects.
