Jennifer Connelly joins The Day the Earth Stood Still

Jenniffer Connely has signed on to star alongside Keanu Reeves in the upcoming remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still. He will play Klaatu who is the human-like alien who visits earth with his killer robot and warns mankind that they are nearing doom and being stalked by a deadly alien species for destruction. Its a remake of the 1951 sci-fi classic.
