Friday Remake Details Are In

Platinum Dunes are at it again and this time it just so happens to be Friday the 13th. So far the fan attitude has been a very mixed pot. What I have to say is that where can you go wrong after sending Jason into outer space? I'd like to talk to the dumb ass who thought that was a good idea.

Anyway the guys over at CHUD have gotten their hands on a early draft of the new film. Right now it looks like Marcus Nispel will be directing with a release date schedueled on February 13th, 2009. Everything that was posted are little spoilers so if you don't want to spoil it read no further.

Of course they are not going to do a direct remake but more or less, restart the franchise. This time around Jason is human, not a zombie, nothing magical about him. Basically the film just kicks off like any other random FD13 film does. Kids go camping, tell the legend and die.
