Midnight Meat Train Arrival

The much anticipated adaptation of Clive Barker's terrifying short story Midnight Meat Train has an official release date.  Shocktillyoudrop learned from Lionsgate that the film will be arriving in theaters in May 2008.  Japanese director Ryuhei Kitamura makes his North American debut with Meat Train, Kitamura's previous credits include Versus, Godzilla Final Wars, & Azumi. 

In Midnight Meat Train, photographer Leon Kauffman is flowing up on a lead concerning a series of brutal murders on subway.  His search leads him to a mysterious man named Mahogany.  Kauffman enters Mahogany's realm and learns the secret behind the horror.  Clive Barker's Midnight Meat Train rolls into theaters on May 16, 2008.
