Saw 2 Review

10 out of 10 Skulls

Anyone who watched the first Saw movie must, I repeat must go and see this movie. I think this is one of the rare times when the sequel out does the original. From the first scene to the climactic ending this movie was extremely fun and gruesome. I personally enjoyed every second of it.

I don't know what I can say about this movie without giving away some of the great traps and twists. But I will say this, the writers for this series are twisted on my wave length. The horrors that await the people that are locked in Jigsaw's house of fun are some of the most inventive, traps I have ever seen.

For those that thought about passing this movie by and writing it off as just another sequel, you need to put yourself in check and go see it. It is well worth the full price admission, even though I saw it for free thanks to the website and Lion's Gate. I will personally pay to see it again. I loved it that much. If you don't trust me, then I suggest you find a matinee price and still go see it. This is one of the few movies I will buy, probably pre-order, as soon as it hits DVD. I can only hope they have a ton of extras they could not show from the movie.

Here is a brief synopsis of the movie for those that have not seen it yet and want to know more. Jigsaw locks a few unlucky people in a booby trapped shelter and they must find a way out before they inhale too much of a lethal nerve gas and die. But they must watch out, for the traps Jigsaw has set in the shelter lead to death also. There is more to this movie then what I just put here, but I will leave the rest up to you to see what the movie also holds for the viewers.
