When a Stranger Calls (2006) Review

To me this movie paled in comparison to the original 1979 version. It was lacking quite a bit in the plot scenario. The whole movie was to be based around the babysitter with the phone calls of "Have You Checked The Children" a focal point.

This was a very incomplete carcature of the original, and anyone who has seen the original would also agree. All of the hype was just to bring the movie up to speed with all of the other movies that are being remade.

I feel that if it ain't broke don't fix it, and this is one movie that if they were not going to make it "BETTER" than the first, they should not have remade it at all. This was just as bad as the second part of the movie "When A Stranger Calls Back" (let's hope they don't decide to remake the sequel, now THAT would be a nightmare)!
