The Fog (2005) Review

This movie was as weak as the actors used to put it all together! in comparing it to the original (where the scream Queen - Jamie Lee Curtis-was a major factor in the role) this remake was a very poor one. For me the highlight of the whole movie wa the Neon Glow to the fog!

That was a fantastic effect, one that wasn't so clearly apparent in the original (1980) which even minus all of the theatrical effects of todays era was The One that could keep you on the edge of your seat, not reeling from laughter at the various scenes. This was "not" supposed to be a comedy, but in the theatre where I sat I noticed the peals of laughter around me, as I shook my head in disgust at what had been done to a movie that I really enjoyed and still do. I loved the original and just tolerated the remake, it was a big disapointment!
