The Fog (2005) Review

Okay, I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to horror movies (I love them all) but I have to say that this movie BLOWS!  It starts off slow, gets boring and ends stupid.  It is full of holes and confusion.

This movie had so much potential but just fell flat.  The characters where bland and you didn't really care what happened to them.  I found myself wanting some of the characters to be killed off just to get them off of the screen.  I didn't find myself rooting for the "hero" but rather rooting for the "evil" that is killing people.  This was an instance where the original should have been left alone.

Now, there were some good things about this movie (which is why I even gave it two stars).  I did like how they depicted the fog as a living creature that could move against the wind and seek out its pray.  That would be all of the good points for this movie.

If you're really bored and have watched every other horror movie in the world and this one is the only one that you haven't seen yet, then sure give it a go, but I think that your time could be better spent doing something else ... like re-grouting your bathroom!
