Visiting Hours Review

Deborah Ballin is an outspoken journalist that is all about women's rights. She is afraid of nothing and tells like she sees it in spite of hate mail and threats from a psychotic fan. One night she goes too far for him and he viciously attacks her landing her in the hospital. But just when she thinks she is safe she realizes that no amount of police protection will keep him from finishing the job. Innocent patients and staff are knocked off one by one as his frustration grows.
When one nurse takes it upon herself to personally watch over her hero, she puts her life as well as the lives of her children at risk. We see periodic glimpses of the psycho's own abusive childhood and the now invalid father that he visits in a nursing home. This film is taut and tense causing you to wonder if you are ever truly safe from a madman with a mission.
