The Hills Have Eyes (2006) Review

Plain & simple, the best horror remake of the recent comback kids. The film has a darker edge than the original with a lot of uneasy, gory & sick moments. The actors start off with nice white hollywood smiles but after there holiday turns to hell all you can see is red. Most remakes dont come close to there daddys but The Hill Have Eyes 2006 not only lives up to Wes Cravens original but beats it at its own game.

The fact that the killers now have a proper back story gives the movie a real back bone, I know some people have said that doing this & making them deformed takes away the mystery of them but I dont agree ( and after all we all have opinions ) it makes what the killers do in this have a reason, a dam sick twissted evil reason, but a reason none the less.

The whole look of the film has a great deserted , dirty feel about it, the whole real package fits really well & I would highly recommend it to any horror fan, unless like some people have your head stuffed up the originals backside to far to see a dam fine movie in its own right, yeah there have been some awfull remakes lately (The Fog anyone?) this is not one of them. Do yourslef a favor check out this film now!!!!!
