The Fog (2005) Review

I could not believe how terrible this movie was!  This movie is not in the same league with John Carpenter's 1979 classic, which is shameful.  When I heard that there was going to be a remake to the Fog I was excited.  The story alone is solid and the special effects could only enhance the movie.  I was dead wrong. 

The movie had two blaring faults.  First of all how can you make genuine horror movie that is rated pg-13?  The charachters were so boring that you could 'nt wait until they were killed.  Finally, the movie never establishes a sheer sense terror in the audience.  This was one of the worst attempts at horror I have ever seen!
