Silent Hill Review

I am a fan of the games but the movie was... in my opinion... disappointing, and best discribed as a total waste of film.  The acting was farely good, for what that was worth... but the story... did not exist... sure they had the daughter have issues and eventually go missing and that gave them a purpose to start everything....but other than a flash of random scenes there were no explinations. 

And if you played the games you know that Alessa did not meet her fate for that reason.  In fact... the people in the city were not witch hunters in the game.  or whatever they claimed to be. 

I will have to say that the blood and violence was well done.  But that just makes the film gross... not good.  I hate it when people spend more money on special effects and not on story.... With no story... there is no fear induced.... boring.... Anyway.... I guess that is all I really have to say....
