Cursed Review

Wow! A new Wes Craven. Wow! A new Kevin Williamson. Wow! It blows. I had so many reasons to be excited about this film. We have Christina Ricci (the indie princess) doing a werewolf film with Wes. What could be better? Let's see...parking tickets, root canals, just about any other werewolf film.

This poor thing went through so many rewrites and recasts that I'm not surprised it suffered. But I hate that we suffered as well Ricci and her brother who live alone are attacked by a mysterious creature on the side of the road. Dun, dun, DUN! What ever could it be? We soon find out. It was a CGI werewolf.

The story of werewolves in Hollywood is indeed interesting and could have been really good. But as much as I dig both Wes and Kevin, and even with a few really cool scenes, I am afraid this was little more than an episode of Dawson's Creek with extra hair...CGI hair.
