The Hills Have Eyes (2006) Review
Written by: Antonis
The future of horror... is France and his name is Al. Aja. After Haute Tension Aja was capable for everything, for the worst or for the better. And he went to Hollywood, and he took the risk, to make a remake of Wes Cravens classic The hills have eyes.
And he did it! And this remake is not like the others! Thank God is not a "House of Wax", and is not "The Fog". Yes, in the same time is not comparable with the classic "The hills have eyes". Haute Tension was a good surprise but if Aja wants to make a big career must go to Hollywood. And this film is the proof that he can make a great career.
The image is dark, the murders are not fake, they are real. Aja has no fear and he wants we to see everything. And we can see everything... and a lot of blood. The actors are good for a horror film, and if this film is good, we have to say thanks to Aja.
