This movie is made by horror fans for horror fans.First off I'm a huge horror fan, this movie was everything i wanted to see in a horror flick. The story is about a sleepy town of Wheelsy could be any small town in America - somewhat quaint and gentle, peopled with friendly folks who mind their own business. But just beneath the surface charm, something unnamed and evil has arrived...and is growing. No one seems to notice as telephone poles become clogged with missing pet flyer's, or when one of the town's richest citizens, Grant (Michael Rooker), begins to act strangely.

But when farmers' livestock turn up horribly mutilated and a young woman goes missing, Sheriff Bill Pardy (Nathan Fillion) and his team, aided by Grant's wife Starla (Elizabeth Banks), uncover the dark force laying siege to their town...and come face-to-face with an older-than-time organism intent on absorbing and devouring all life on Earth.

I love the cast. I really enjoyed Michael Rooker's performance as Grant. I have to say this is not a rip-off of Night of the Creeps. This movie is a tribute to those cheesy 80's horror flicks. You can expect this movie to deliver a entertaining, funny, gross and silly horror show. This movie is one of those flicks that makes the hero,in that case Bill Pardy (Nathan Fillion) look more like a coward. I really enjoyed the directing from James Gunn. First he brings us that extremely entertaining Dawn of the dead remake. Then he brings us Slither a better movie. I recommend this movie to all horror fans.
