Black Christmas (1974) Review

Black Christmas is terrifying,one of the best Horror films ever made.It's time for Christmas break, and the sorority sisters make plans for the holiday, but the strange anonymous phone calls are beginning to put them on edge. When Clare disappears, they contact the police, who don't express much concern. Meanwhile Jess is planning to get an abortion, but boyfriend Peter is very much against it.

The police finally begin to get concerned when a 13-year-old girl is found dead in the park. They set up a wiretap to the sorority house, but will they be in time to prevent a sorority girl attrition problem? This is probably the only scary movie out there.Decent acting for the 70's.The directing was great,I really enjoy Bob Clark's directing.From all the horror movies out there this is definitely the scariest,not disturbing or bloody just plain scary.

Black Christmas has this technique of showing the characters get killed by the killer in that case Billy ,but not in graphic ways,but it is still pretty terrifying.For the past 3 years every Christmas eve I watch Black Christmas for the heck of it.I remember the first time I watched Black Christmas on Christmas eve,I was so terrified.I know the remake is coming this coming Christmas season,but I know for sure it is not Ghana beat the original.Overall one of the best horror flicks ever made,definitely the best slasher.Not disturbing or gory just plain scary.
