Dawn of the Dead (2004) Review

I have to say this was one hell of a good remake,the best one so far.Today, Anna will be heading home after a long day at the hospital where she can cuddle up to her husband and forget about work. Tomorrow, she'll be running for her life as she finds herself being chased by bloodthirsty, ravenous zombies who can move as fast and fierce as animals. Banding together with a group of survivors, they'll defend themselves in the most unlikely of places: a mega shopping mall. But as the zombies increase in numbers before the mall, the group will have to find a way out before the undead find their way in.

The original still kicks the remakes ass,but the 04 version kicks the originals ass at the entertainment category.Iam a huge fan of the original,this was a huge treat for me and it will definitely be a treat for all the fans of the original.There are a lot of good things about this movie,but the original was still better.Why,because in the original there is more character.The 04 remake is so fast and action packed that they don't focus on the character,more on delivering a solid zombie flick.I like how the original had hells angles and showed the characters having a good time with the merchandise, in several scenes.

The remake had a approximately 1min scene of the characters having fun.The remake has a handful of characters,unlike the original which had 4,the remake replaces the 2 swat members with a cop and 3 mall security guards.The hells angles are replaced with a truck load of people.The directing was pretty good,Zach Snyder should do more Horror flicks.Overall almost as good as the original,but very different,but still a must-see for all Horror fans.
