First of all the rating I'm giving this movie is based off of the R rated cut I saw in the theatre. I have to come out and say that because honestly the dubbing was outright terrible in this movie, almost laughable. But luckily it only lasts for about the first 20 minutes of the movie. If the movie had been simply subbed it would of scored at least a 9.

That said this is still going to be one of the best movies of this year. The tale of two women heading into the French countryside only to be hunted by a crazed redneck is brilliant. A very refreshing movie compared to what we have been recieving from Hollywood.

For some reason during this movie I almost felt like this was actually happening and I was right there with them. I would have to credit Cecil De Frances superb acting in this movie for that. She really shines in this movie and proved she can play a very complex character.

One thing that I always find improtant in movies like this are how inventive the kills are and how much is revealed. This movie scored alot of points here. The murders were all methodical and very visceral. Props to the FX department on this film. Another thing that I did notice in this film though was that it was obivious where they cut some of the gore.

All in all this is a great film that due to an unforuate choice to dub the movie brought its score down for me. But that is just me. Overall its a great film with a very odd twist at the end that caught me totally off guard. A must see.
