Intense supernatural movie, with a message from the dead.

The beginning has a naked blood soaked boy walking with purpose, making his way to the sherriff's cabin. The beginning of this movie sets the pace for the whole story.

The writing/storyline is excellent,  the last few people, mainly sherriff's deputies/law enforcement are packing up to leave the lush forest where they are stationed, to move, since a dam has been bulit and the whole area is going to be flooded. There were several recent "serial deaths" , unsolved and the bodies are missing. It appears that supernatural events are happening to give clues to the law enforcement to help solve these tragedies. The bloody dead boy trying to leave clues. (he doesn't speak, and his blood soaked expression is a major influence on your heart rate). An interesting story unfolds, with excellent acting and camera work and makeup.The blood is an actor on its own. (very clever use of blood), the "blood wranglers" on set should be commended.

This is a good horror flick, intense and to the point, the story weaves a web that keeps your attention, uses just the right smattering of blood and gore and has a great interaction with all the characters. The cover of the dvd caught my attention last year in the rental store, I am reviewing after re-watching on Sci-fi channel. My point is the extras on the dvd on the filming of the movie were interesting to view also. I suggest watching this movie as I very much enjoyed it the first and second time I watched it.
