Shutter Review
Written by: DemonToSome
A young couple, Tun, a photographer and his girlfriend Jane are driving home from a late night party. Jane who is driving gets distracted while talking to Tun, when all of a sudden they hit someone standing on the road. Tun convinces Jane to drive away from the accident. They don't know what happened to the girl because there is no evidence of anyone getting hit. Did she walk away, did they kill her, where is she?
Not long after this, Tun begins to have nightmares and ghostly images appear on photos he has taken. So the two of them set out to investigate the images and the mysterious girl. They soon learn who this girl is and find out that Tun use to date her.
I don't want to give anymore of the film away except it's another Asian movie which has a dangly messed up looking girl with long black stringy hair. This isn't a bad thing either because she was a creepy little ghost. I enjoyed it and kept my interest right to the end. I really liked the pace of the film.
The two directors, being in their 20's, Banjong Pisanthanakun & Parkpoom Wongpoom did something cool with it, instead of it just being your plain old ghost story. The creepy atmosphere throughout the movie really helped and the ending... yeah it ended pretty cool.
