Storm of the Century Review

Based on the novel by Stephen King, its one of the best book to movie adaptations iv ever seen. The story is about a sleepy little island town that is facing the worst storm of in years that cuts them off from the mainland, but the winter storm isn't the only thing that threatens the town. A stranger arrives at the town and a series of strange murders and suicides start to chill the hearts of everyone on the island.

Everything about this movie is great. all of the actors fit in their role, espically Colm Feore who plays the mysterious stranger. The story line is amazing. A lot of modern horror movies have a lot of cliches and stuff that been used before, but this is one of the few that dosnt.

All of the special effects look great. The makeup is done really well, and all of the blood looks real. almost throughout the whole movie it is snowing, and all of the snow looks real, and not like the fake snow thats seen in alot of movies. this is just an overall great movie, and i highly recomend it.
