This movie needed a review and someone to say every zombie lover should have this movie in their collection. The Dead Next Door (1989) Is zombie indie goodness. Filmed on a small budget on Super-8mm, (side note Sam Raimi helped finance the film). The gore and effects are awesome. I loved the farmhouse zombie. Great camera work and the acting is good.

Directed by J.R. Bookwalter the film is about a viral epidemic that creates a Nation of zombies. The "Zombie Squad" a government run team of "commandos" are out looking for the cure. The film features, zombies, mad scientists and satan worshippers, the Whitehouse overun with zombies, even pro-zombie protesters!!

Listen close you can hear a dubbed Bruce Campbell voice. And I love all the people's names and references to the horrorr genre. A fun movie with great gore and zombie substance, I would label it a cult classic and a must see zombie lovers.
