28 Weeks Later Review

Well, after finally seeing the film, it is my sincere opinion that it surpassed 28 days later by miles. 28 Weeks Later is raw, hardcore, and brutal to the extreme. In my opinion it is also tragic, epic, and realistic.

Think about it...it such a thing were to happen, can't you see "Code red" being a legit option of operations? I can.  So 28 weeks has passed since the horrible events of 28 Days Later. Britain/London has been cleared out of all infection. People are finally able to return to the place they know as home. But due to the cowardice actions of one man, the infection is soon to return, spreading out of control all over again.

The story was a well written one, following a young boy and his older sister as they try to escape not only Britain...but their now infected father. With the help of a scientist and awol military man, they manage such, but not without a price...and a final confrontation with their father. 28 Weeks Later was a masterpiece that leaves you very, very anxious for more! -Shawn Staggs
