Halloween 2 Review
Written by: ShawnStaggs
Some people didn't like Halloween 2 all that much. I have my complaints, but overall I liked the film! Halloween 2 continues right where the first left off. Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) is taken to Haddonfield Memorial Hospital to be treated for the wounds sustained in the attack of her brother, Michael Myers.
Meanwhile, Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasance) and Sheriff Brackett (Charles Cyphers) are searching the darkened streets for Michael. Eventually, Micheal discovers where his sister is and makes the hospital his new hunting ground. During such, a doped up Laurie has flashbacks and remembers her early childhood...and the fact that Michael Myers is her brother. This all ends with a final conflict between Laurie, Loomis, and Michael Myers.
My complaints? Well, first of all, this was suppose to take place the exact same night...But Lauries hair looks much different, and don't get me started on Michael's mask and actions. Myer's seemed much more slower (but anyone could note in that Michael has been shot 6 times earlier in the night).
I understand that Michael Myers killed Judith on Halloween...so sure, he returns home for his other siser on...Halloween. But I thought that him writing "Samhain" in blood on a chalk board was pushing it just a little! But over all, it was a great sequel! -Shawn Staggs
