Land of the Dead Review

Finely a zombie movie worth watching. I am a big zombie movie fan and i must say over the last few years what few zombie movies that have come out has been lame. What ones do i think are lame you might ask. Well lets start all the way back in the year 2001 or was it 2002. I can't rember and i don't realy give a damn what year Resident Evil came out it was so bad I did not even want to remember it but i did anyway.

What was even worse was Resident Evil 2 and House of the Dead. Shaun of the Dead was decent. if you would have ask me what i thought about the Dawn of the Dead remake last year at this time i would have said it is about as close to seeing a Romero zombie film on the big screen as we'll ever see. At that time i had been hearing rummors about Land of the Dead but never really knew what to belive hell rumours are rumours some times they never happen but fortunatly this one did and thank god for it.

The Dawn of the Dead Remake is a kids horror flick compared to Land of the Dead. Thats right i think I was stupid for buying Dawn of the Dead 2004 after seeing Land of the Dead i guess it had been to long of a wait for a new Romero zombie film that is why i was brainwashed with the Dawn remake. No more on Dawn i'll review that one later.

Im not going to ruin Land of the Dead for you with a bunch of spoilers all im going to say is that if your into really good zombie films then this one is for you. The movie was just about perfect the only reason i give it a 9 is because of the cut out gore in the film im sure once the uncut dvd comes out i'll move the 9 to a 10. Day of the Dead is still my fav zombie films but i must say this one is one step behind it.nah just say a half a step :).

One other thing, this is for Mr Romero himself. Thank you so much for giving us a zombie film that will leave a mark for many years to come. You truely are the master of zombie films. I look foward to many more.
