Van Helsing Review

I bought this before seeing it, and I wasn't really let down. The setting reminded me of Sleepy Hollow somewhat yet was nothing like it. This movie is great because it brings all the "horror creatures" together in one film, (Dracula, werewolves, Frankenstein, etc.) It puts a twist in perspective about which characters are really good and evil, for me.  

I love how Van Helsing is using new tools in this, compared to sticking with the classics. Dipping a cross bow in Holy water...loved it. I also think the way the main characters are connected to the evil, underlies the fact that, everyone has evil in them, it's really about what makes it come out. Even Van Helsing himself, had to bring out his evil, just to destroy evil itsself. Definetly a keeper on my list.
