Land of the Dead Review
Written by: DarkSunrise
I'm a sucker for zombie flicks and this was a winner on my list. Even during stressful and near fatal circumstances, society is still portrayed in classes, and this film reconizes that. Ah, but high class will basicaly destruct themselves once the fences are broken down, and the hungry are let in. I think the film makers really did an outstanding job in showing how throughout the years the dead have learned.
The "sky flowers" was a good touch also in showing how they still haven't evolved to "full human" mentality yet. My favorite scene has to be the newbie getting bit over being greedy, and has no choice but to take his own life. It really shows how your life is in your hands and will be until the very end. This is ranked as one of my favorite zombie films. Breathing under water, shooting guns, working together, and still having a leader figure is some of the things in this movie that really wasn't gone into depth in the other films. This a must have for zombie collectors.
