Halloween (1978) Review

10 out of 10 Skulls

John Carpenter's Halloween is a thriller that gives no mercy. It is violent, scary, creepy, terrifying and is one of the best horror movies ever made. It is about a character referred to Evil Personified. A six-year-old boy commits a murder and is sent away, and is described by his psychiatrist (Donald Pleasance) as someone he spent eight years trying to help, and the next years trying to keep locked up. He escapes and returns on Halloween to the same town and street where he committed his first murder.

This is one of those movies that feels like it comes off the screen and happens all around you. We all watch movies for different reasons, to laugh, cry, or be scared. If you want to be scared, then Halloween should be at the top of your list.
