8 out of 10 Skulls

Ouch... The word of the film has to be that, or if you care to look at the four kids who end up being harmed in the greatest ways possible! Rob Zombie has a clear idea for this movie; gore, imagination, and more gore. So we see a lot of built up death scenes and gore in the hour and a bit that the movie runs for.

The story follows four students as they visit an old amusement place, for no reason, oh except to get pics of a place where some guy called Dr Satan was killed. But the place isn't abandoned. Oh no! It houses three despicabbly cool killers, Otis, Baby, and Captain Spaulding (all American bad ass).

The fact this is set in the 70's also allows some of the usual; "Wouldn't cameras pick them up?" "Why didn't the polcie help" ideas, while making the soundtrack blend much better. This film is not for the faint of heart, so do keep this away from your 9 year old. Only allow those sick kids to see this.
