Welcome To The Jungle Review

I tend to get excited when I see a resurgence in certain sub genres like werewolf movies, and cannible movies. I thought  I was about to view something special and unique, maybe even groundbreaking as i started the WTTJ DVD.

I had my drink and my sandwich, the house was quiet, lights down low, I was ready for some jungle cannible carnage.  Well it was 30 minutes in, my soda was getting warm and my sandwich was gone and nothing happened yet. Two couple had gone into the jungle to look for a rich guy that crashed his plane there and so far al they did was argue and fight. O.K. 1 hour mark, I have a new soda, some cheesy poofs and surely somethings going to happen now ......... and nothing, they found some skulls and a lighter with the rich guys initials in a village.

At least they quit arguing, oh shit here they go again, oh wait they are splitting up, this could get good here.  One couple get attacked and thank to the shaky cam we can't see anything, so I think they are dead but not sure, oh wait the guy is definately dead, I think. Oh well who cares. I watched the last 10 minutes and those 10 minutes were great but the other hour and 10, lame.

To say the least I was dissappointed, why this has an Extreme label I have no clue but unless you want a movie that acts live a sleeping pill, stay away from this one.
