I am Legend Review

Finally got to see the movie that is the talk of the town. I am legend came out on December 14th and made over 78 millions its first weekend. Its a great end to the 2007 year. I was excited bout seeing this movie didnt get everythign i wanted to see out of it but its entertaining. A cure for cancer is found and it ends up to have something much worse then cancer as more then half the population is wiped out due to this cure and they are turned into zombies or vampiers or monsters whayever the hell u want to call them. Robert Nevill is the only one left he thinks with his dog sam. He tried several tests to find a cure for this plague that was cause by the cure for cancer. Hes living in new York City and does daily tasks that are ppl kool not too normal tho. One thing I liked was the lack of big words. I mean when i see a movie i want to know what their talking bout, it wasnt really too sceintific cuz i hate science and i never got it.

But even duringhis experiments it wasnt too scientific. I like that in the movie, it was pretty suspenseful, a good PG-13 film. The gore wasnt anything great its no Dawn of the Dead or 28 weeks Later but I think if it came out on Unrated DVD it would be right up there with the modern da zombie outbreak films or infection films. Will Smith is a good actor in my book, I enjoy his sense of humor and his bad ass attitude (im not gay and i dont have a crash on him) but hes good actor and he did a great job acting but there were a few parts where i said he messed up there. One major thing wrong with this film is the CGI, I thought I was watching cartton network when those zombies came in.

I could tell right off the bat they were fake. I think a total of 2 people played a major roll and they were Smith and the girl who played ANNA. The dog was a good actor and the mute of a kid just sat there and thats it didnt even say too much. Director did his job not the greatest not the worst. I liked the music and the theme song it had some good classic music and the theme was good. Anyway it has one thumb up for me soo its worth a shot. I suggest u cach the earlier show soo u save a few bucks or just wait til it comes out on DVD.
