Alien Vs Predator: Requiem Review

    I jsut got back from the movie and i have to say its a major let down. It was watchable  but not by much. The movie akes place right after AVP lefted off, the predalien comes out of the dead predators chest and kills the predators on the ship. The ship crash ends in a small mid western town and thats whn hell break loose.

    The story sucked , i loved the idea of aliens an predators battleing on Earth in America instead of a far away planet but the stories of peoples lives sucked. I went to see AVPR for alien and predator to battle and i got stuck with some Dawsons Creek bullshit for the first half hour.. The trailers made this movie look good when its really nothing to be proud of. I think those who hated AVP will hate this one. It had some gore but it was CGI, even the aliens poppign out of the chests was CGI and i mean bad CGI, it makes Day of the Dead 2 look good. There were sooo much shit that didnt belong in this movie.

    It took only a few minutes for the alien to pop outta ur chest when in the origanl ones it tooks a few hours. The movie was slow paced for the dawson Creek love story and then sped up to though the AVP battle scene which was onyl Predator kickign ass by blowing the aliens head off wih his gun and slicing them but it was soo weak. I didint get the ending at all, and i no for a fact thre will be a third direct to dvd sequel. This movie not only ruins the Alien and predator name but completly ruins the series. The battle scenes was gay they were quick and pointless. It was supposed to be Aliens and Predator fighting but it just had an ambush of predator killing all the aliens until the final showdown of predalien.

    Acting wasnt great but wasnt bad it was like watching a new drama series on FOX. CGI and effects sucked horribly, i hated the blood effects and it blocked out all the good scenes of aliens killign people. This movie could have been soo much better. The directors behidn this the Strause brothers are now horrible directors in my book. Completely ruined the franchise that could have been a lot better. AVP isnt my favorite movie but its still a decent movie to watch once in a while. This movie has a thumbs down in my book. Wait for the DVD dont waste ur money with this unless u had free tickets like I did. May God have Mercy on this film....
