Aliens vs Predator: Requiem Review

If you have read any of the other reviews, like I have done, then this review will mostly agree with those reviews. First, there is little or not plot in this movie at all. I was okay with that. I could care less about a 7 layer plot with pink icing on top. I wanted to see Aliens fight Predators and thats what I got. The only plot you need was established in the first 5 minutes of the film. Aliens landed on earth...so a lone Bad Ass Predator has to go and stop them from spreading. Thats all you need right there...plot established.

There are some cool new Predator gadgets and some modifications to some oldies but goodies. The predator does use his shoulder cannon a good bit but not too much as stated in other reviews. If I was wrecking aliens I would do it at a safe distance as well. The predator does get close on several occassions which makes for some of the coolest fight scenes out of any of the Alien/Predator movies.

When you see this movie, you might want to pay attention to o say everything. There are many references to lines/parts of some of the alien/predator movies as well as the music through out the movie.There are a couple funny lines in the movie and some pretty good half nakedness going on.

Overall, I like this movie better than the first one. It returned to the roots so-to-speak. My only regret is I wish there was more than one Predator running around crushing some ass.
