Day Watch (Dnevnoi Dozor) (2007) Review

This is easily the best film i've seen all year and is now one of my alltime favourites! 

Everything about this film is amazing - even the subtitles are artistic.  The CGI is unbelievably good and Anton Gorodetsky has to be one of the coolest characters ever written.  The film carries on the power-struggle between the forces of Light and Dark from 'Night Watch', but also throws in a side you might not expect in the form of some fairly doomed love stories.  Zhanna Friske also has one of the best scenes in the film when she gatecrashes a meeting in a very unique way.  It's worth watching for that alone.

My only concern is that once Hollywood has finished with all the needless Horror remakes, they're going to start on foreign films, set this in America and rip the guts out of it.  That would break my heart...
