Deep Rising (1998) Review

Alright guys, here it is.  My first drunk review.  Its gonna be the best :D  So i've been drinking since I got home from work.  I've been talking to DemonToSome for the last hour and I've been doing clothes.  So I figured, WHAT THE HELL.  I need to do me a drunk review.  What could be better.  and DEEP RISING no less.  WHAT A GREAT FUCKING MOVIE!

Whether you're drinking or not.  Deep Rising is awesome.  Lemme say that again....cuz it sounds oh so good.  Deep Rising is awesome.  Feels goood as it rolls off the tongue doesn't it?  Just say it once, you won't be disappointed.  I SWEAR!

Well I really don't need to review it cuz "Deep Rising is awesome" pretty much says it all.  But I'll give a little personal insight into it.   The acting is awesome.  There's a bunch of B and hell even A list actors here in this little piece of paradise.  Kevin O'conner plays a great sidekick type character.  He always was good as a sidekick.  I guess I'd say he's like the Rob Schneider of the B movies....with characters anyway.  Kevin's character is funny, the audience likes the guy, he is smart.  D.R. also stars Famke Janssen.  I don't even wanna talk about her.  I want her so bad.  uuuugggghhhhh.....she's so great in this movie....that red dress.  mmmmmm.....ok. dunk sorry.  also the wonderful Treat Williams plays the lead.  This is the first movie I really noticed him in and I like him ever since.  He does really well and has a lot of good lines throughout the movie.

If I was to say this movie in one word.  It'd be fun.  Everything about it is just fun.  Everyone in it is a smart ass.  They all cock off to one another, and its hilarious watching that.  There is a lot of times the movie should be really tense but to give away one part....they are running away from tentacle things and they end up in an elevator.  it goes up as they are all alert with guns n shit.  Well music plays and Kevins character names the song.  I laughed.

what else about deep rising....I say just watch it.  Its a great movie either alone or probably better with a group.  You'll be hooked throughout and are excited to see what happens next.  so rent it, buy it.  You may be disappointed, but its not A list material...just have an open mind.

and remember....Deep Rising is awesome.
