Psycho 2 Review
Written by: RIP
If you are a fan of the 1960 Alfred Hitchcock film Psycho then you gotta see the 1983 sequel Psycho 2. Psycho 2 starts off where it's 22 years later after Norman Bates was sent to mental hospital for having multiple personalities and murdering people at his family motel portraying his mother as one of the personalities.
Now Bates(Anthony Perkins) is well and released into the care of his doctor and goes back to the house and motel where he grew up to try to salvage some sorta of a life. Well one of his victims' sister from the first film has it in for him and doesn't want him out of jail and cooks up a scheme with her own daughter to try and drive Bates batty again.
Well the kills do start up again and are really good in this sequel but is the killer poor ole Bates driven mad again or is it the raging sister and her daughter, or could it be Norman's real mother???
You must watch this great film to find out. The film stars Anthony Perkins, Vera Miles, Meg Tilley, Dennis Franz, Robbert Loggia, etc.....and has a great setting and musical score in it and very creepy scenes too. I like this film better than the original one and the ending to Psycho 2 is great.
