10 out of 10 Skulls

As you may or may not know,  this is  is one of my favorite horrror films. The movie is very  groundrbreaking in horror cinima.  The sequels and clones might have a little bit more in terms of gore and explilicitness(If there is a word) but they do not hold a candle to this gem.

Seven people barricad themselves in an abandoned house as cannabalistic zombies walk the earth in search of human bodies to devour.  The people have no or little respect from each other, so it is up to each of them to put aside their differences and find a way to escape to safety.

I love this horror movie to pieces. From the beggining where Barbara is attacked and chased by the Zombie in the cematary , to the near end, where  the little gir is snacking on her dead fathers heart!!. Man, who would have thought of that?!   The Black and white and cheap shoe-string budget added onto the feeling of it all being real!!  The news stories seemed real. Almost like a documentary!!  All in all, Night Of The LIving Dead is  the one to see, It is the textbook for all indie horror film making
