Bruiser Review

George A Romero's comeback film "Bruiser" is one of his weaker points. im a huge Romero fan that you allready know unless this is your first time reading a review by me. and by me being a fan that don't mean im going to stick by him 100% lets face it everyone has made a shity movie at least once from "Stephen King" to "John Carpenter" hell even "Clive Barker"remember that movie by him called "Rawhead Rex"? it was shit. it don't have to be a first movie to be shit. Romero's first movie "Night of the living Dead" remains an all time zombie classic even to this day. i watched "Bruiser" when it first came out. and after it was over with i was like WTF this is the worst Romero film i've seen since "Monkeyshines". im sad to say but the master of horror himself George A Romero gives us more drama then horror to start the 2000s out with. the story it self is about a guy who lets ppl shit on him in other words he is a big pussy. one day he wakes up and his face is gone so he gets pissed off and starts killing the ppl that have hurt him. i don't know why Romero wanted this to be his comeback film. maybe it was something he was going though at the time and makeing a drama somehow made it easyer to deal with. his comeback film should have been "Land of the Dead" i don't know how anyone can say "Land of the Dead" don't seem like a Romero film "Land of the Dead" is Romero 100% and not just for the special fx ether the whole movie was kickass. anyway enough on "Land of the Dead" read my "Land of the Dead" review if you want to know more of what i think about it. over all i give "Bruiser" a 3 cause its Romero's comeback film. if your new to horror movies don't let this be the first Romero film you watch cause its not realy a horror movie. check out "Creepshow" parts 1&2 "Night of the Living Dead" the old and new one. "Dawn of the Dead" "Day of the Dead" "Land of the Dead" "Two Evil Eyes" "The Dark Half" only watch "Bruiser" if your a die hard Romero fan.
